The Lordship Elementary 5th and 6th grade classes are looking to raise some money to offset the cost of going to Nature’s Classroom this fall with a bottle, can and clothing drive on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 8 a.m.-noon. Student volunteers will meet you at your car to assist you with your bottles, cans and clothing bags.
Along with your recyclables, they are collecting clothing, old toys, furniture, books, baby car seats, high chairs, crib frames, etc., for a non-profit organization that sends these supplies around the world. The only thing the company will not accept are mattresses.
As a reminder, Main Street will be closed from Access Road south so you will need to take the alternative routes of Access Road or Exit 30, Lordship Boulevard to get to the school at 254 Crown Street.
