St. Mark School held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 4. Pastor Fr. Don Guglielmi, Principal Donna Wuhrer, and Mayor John Harkins participated. The school was awarded a $30,000 playground from the Dannon Yogurt Company through its Rally for Recess Contest. Harkins, an alumnus of St. Mark School, shared with the students his memories of recess there when an entire class of students shared one kickball. St. Mark School is also celebrating its 50th anniversary.
