Classes begin Sept. 9 for Stratford Continuing Education’s three routes for completing secondary school — a Credit Diploma Program, a National External Diploma Program (NEDP) and GED Test preparation classes.
Counselors are available to assist prospective students in choosing the program appropriate for their needs and schedules.
These Stratford evening adult education classes are offered without charge to Stratford residents 17 years or older who want to earn their high school diplomas.
Other programs available to adults are Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and American Citizenship.
Students must register in person on one of these dates: August 25 or 26; September 2 or 4 at Stratford High School from 6-8 p.m.; Aug. 27 at the Stratford Public Library from 2-5 p.m., Aug. 28 at Stratford Academy/Parents’ Place on Birdseye Street from 5:30-7:45 p.m., or call 203-385-4270 to make alternate arrangements to register.
